Resonance with Divinity: Profoundness in the Symbolism of Lord Shiva

Image
By Anupama Vaidya.     Over the past 18 months, I have been blessed to visit three out of the twelve Jyotirlingas - Mahakaleshwar, Bhimashankar and Trimbakeshwar. Each of these sacared sites has been more than just a pilgrimage; they have been profound spiritual milestones, deepening my connection with Lord Shiva. As I look forward to visiting the remaining nine in the years ahead, this journey is not merely about travel but about immersing myself in the divine energy that these sites radiate. Having grown up in a family with unwavering faith in the potency of Lord Shiva, these experiences transcend religious rituals. They are moments of self-discovery, transformation, and spiritual resonance. Each visit expands my understanding, broadens my perspective, and strengthens my ability to align with the profound vibrations of the divine. Viewing my life as a series of miracles unfolding along my spiritual path, I find my faith reaffirmed with each passing day. These journeys remi...

Beyond Debates, Finding Synergy in LOVE ๐Ÿ’–

Image
By Anupama Vaidya 14-Feb. Valentine's Day. A day that often sparks debate - Valentine’s Day! But beyond the usual discussions, creativity finds it own way to make a mark. Take, for instance, the latest Cadbury advertisement—“Destroy Valentine’s Day”—which brilliantly plays on the Indian Uncle syndrome, blending humor and sentiment to engage diverse audiences while tugging at the heartstrings. Amidst all the discussions, I find myself reflecting – Is it merely a commercialized spectacle fueled by consumerism? Or does it hold something deeper beyond the clichรฉs of red roses and heart-shaped chocolates? Some dismiss it as a Western import, arguing that love deserves celebration every day, without needing to designate a date. Others see it is as an opportunity to express emotions that often go unspoken in the rush of daily life. Rather than dismissing it, I choose to see Valentine’s Day as an invitation - a moment to pause and reflect on the profound role of love in our live...

Beyond Busyness: The Illusion of Productivity vs. Real Impact

Image
By Anupama Vaidya.        Productivity doesn’t happen by chance, nor is it simply the result of working harder. It is the outcome of deliberate intent, smart planning, and disciplined execution. True impact isn’t about how much we do, but about how effectively we align our actions with meaningful results. Over the years, working closely with professionals and SMEs, I’ve observed a recurring challenge - ๐“ฝ๐“ฑ๐“ฎ ๐“˜๐“ต๐“ต๐“พ๐“ผ๐“ฒ๐“ธ๐“ท ๐“ธ๐“ฏ ๐“Ÿ๐“ป๐“ธ๐“ญ๐“พ๐“ฌ๐“ฝ๐“ฒ๐“ฟ๐“ฒ๐“ฝ๐”‚ . Many businesses and individuals remain perpetually occupied, mistaking relentless activity for meaningful progress. Yet their efforts fail to translate their energy, intent and potential into tangible growth and impact.   Too often, through my work, I see people caught into a trap of inefficiencies, despite their ambition, energy and intent - stuck in daily grind, firefighting bottlenecks, operating with unclear deliverables, undefined goals and priorities, and lack of focus. They rely on assumption...

Defying the Odds: A Story of Resilience, Love, and the Will to Fight

Image
By Anupama Vaidya.          Some stories stay with you long after the credits roll. Last week, by sheer chance, I watched 'I Want to Talk', and it left me deeply moved. Based on the true & deeply inspiring story of Arjun Sen, who stood at the edge of despair yet found the courage to rewrite his fate. It is a testament to resilience, love, & the will to fight against impossible odds. At just 32, Arjun was handed a devastating prognosis of cancer with only 100 days to live. His world crumbled in an instant. But sometimes, in our darkest moments, a single spark reignites the will to fight. For Arjun, that spark came from his daughter. Her innocent yet heart-wrenching words cut through his fear: “๐——๐—ฎ๐—ฑ, ๐—ฎ๐—ฟ๐—ฒ ๐˜†๐—ผ๐˜‚ ๐—ฑ๐˜†๐—ถ๐—ป๐—ด? ๐—ช๐—ถ๐—น๐—น ๐˜†๐—ผ๐˜‚ ๐—ฏ๐—ฒ ๐˜๐—ต๐—ฒ๐—ฟ๐—ฒ ๐—ฎ๐˜ ๐—บ๐˜† ๐˜„๐—ฒ๐—ฑ๐—ฑ๐—ถ๐—ป๐—ด?” In that moment, he knew - he had to fight. Not just for himself, but for her. For the life yet to be lived. What followed was nothing short of extraordinary. Through 20 grue...

Resonance with Divinity: Embracing Goddess Saraswati’s Wisdom and Harmonious Enlightenment

Image
By Anupama Vaidya.   Amidst catching up with work, one of my senior colleague and I were working towards seeking a common slot for a call and the only time that we both were getting before the next week commences was Sunday. While we were almost about to calendarize, he realized and remarked, “Oh, Sunday 2-Feb will be difficult - it’s Basant Panchami!” That moment made me pause and sparked a deeper reflection while travelling back home. In front of me flashed the vibrant celebrations of my friends, especially those from the north, who I’ve witnessed immersing themselves in the joyous spirit of Basant Panchami. Most of the times, I would be rushing to office, while seeing them carrying pooja thalis, dressed in radiant shades of yellow, sharing laughter and devotion – a beautiful sight for me to encapsulate the essence of the festival. Although I may not have actively observed the rituals of this day, I’ve always admired the spirit of Basant Panchami - welcoming nature’s rebirth...
