Celebrating World Brain Day: Honouring the Command Centre of Our Being

By Anupama Vaidya As a child, I was captivated by the intricacies of the human body, dreaming of a career as a neurosurgeon or a cardiac surgeon. With a desire to heal and make a difference to the world around me, I enjoyed the biology classes in school and early college days. A career as a surgeon seemed the perfect pathway to my dreams in those days. Life, however, took unexpected turns, and my learning path veered towards computer science. Yet, my fascination in the human psyche persisted. With the Organization Behaviour course in second year college, I found myself once again drawn to the human aspects in my career. My subsequent journey in the corporate world provided me with numerous opportunities to explore the complexities of human behaviours & human dynamics. I rediscovered my original passion, albeit from a different perspective.
